At the Marsh Lane Harriers we believe coaching should be available to all members regardless of ability.

We will help you progress and achieve your goals. It’s the club’s ethos that we all help each other improve while enjoying the process among friends.

Whether you are a complete newcomer nervous to get in touch or a seasoned long distance runner we have coaches available to help you progress.

There are three tiers available and the following plans are available at all levels, for all runners.

  • Couch to 5k
  • 5k improvement programme

  • Half Marathon distance
  • Half marathon improvement programme

  • Marathon improvement programme

  • Weekly programmes sent out each Monday.
  • Access to all sessions
  • Weekly check in to discuss last week’s progress and assess next week’s plan
  • Perfect for those wanting some accountability and support and aiming for improvement in 2025
  • Pacing advice on all runs
  • Plan can be adapted around work/life/injuries
