At the Marsh Lane Harriers we believe coaching should be available to all members regardless of ability.

We will help you progress and achieve your goals. It’s the club’s ethos that we all help each other improve while enjoying the process among friends.

Whether you are a complete newcomer nervous to get in touch or a seasoned long distance runner we have coaches available to help you progress.

There are three tiers available and the following plans are available at all levels, for all runners.

  • Half marathon improvement programme

  • Marathon improvement programme

Standard Programme

£10 / mo

Standard – Tier 1

  • Improve your MLH membership. Included within the £10 per month subscription and nothing extra to pay.
  • Available to all MLH members
  • Monthly programme to follow on your own
  • Access to all sessions
  • Perfect for beginners or those wanting to improve from their current base
  • Cancel anytime

Progression Programme

£20 / mo

Progression – Tier 2

  • Available to all MLH members £20 per month – includes MLH membership.
  • Weekly programmes sent out each Sunday.
  • Access to all sessions
  • Weekly wellbeing check in with an MLH mentor to discuss last week’s progress and assess next week’s plan
  • Perfect for those wanting some accountability and support and aiming for improvement in 2024
  • Pacing advice on all runs
  • Plan can be adapted easily around work/life/injuries
  • One month’s notice required to cancel this plan

Ultimate Programme

£40 / mo

Ultimate – Tier 3

  • Available to all MLH members £40 per month – includes MLH membership
  • Bespoke training, adapted individually
  • Weekly programmes sent out each Sunday.
  • Ongoing support from an MLH England Athletic’s coach as required
  • Pacing advice for training and races
  • Strength and conditioning support from an in-house MLH personal trainer
  • Yoga and stretching advice from an in-house MLH yoga teacher
  • Gear and equipment advice
  • Technique and performance analysis
  • Fuelling advice for training and racing
  • Network of support with local physios and nutritionists as required at discounted rates
  • Perfect for those wanting to get the best out of themselves and improve their times for a specific target race.
